Use Local Kiln-Dried Wood From Idaho in Your Next Woodworking Project. Les Bois Milling Offers Premium Kiln-Dried Wood Slabs

If you’re a woodworker or contractor, you understand the benefits kiln-drying wood has over other methods. Not only is kiln-dried wood less likely to warp or crack, but it’s also more resistant to decay. Kiln-dried work is the leading choice of woodworkers due to it being easier to work with than air-dried work.

At Les Bois Milling, our kiln-dried wood sets us above the rest. We take pride in our work, taking the time to tell our customers the story behind the wood they’re purchasing. The wood you use in your project is more than the material you’re using – it has a story to tell.

Are you ready to learn why our kiln-dried wood is some of the best in the Boise area? Reach out to our showroom to schedule an appointment. We look forward to showing you our selection of wood in person.

Our Kiln-Dried Wood Slabs Rise Above Our Competition

Les Bois Milling uses the iDRY PLUS Vacuum Kiln to dry our wood in as little as a month. This shortens the average drying time dramatically from other methods. While fast isn’t always the answer, we can effectively and quickly dry our lumber using our cutting-edge techniques.

Our goal is to give trees in the Boise area a second life by sourcing them from a professional forestry program and taking our time to dry them in our kiln. We strive to extend a tree’s lifecycle by helping it live on in another form.

Wide Selection of Wood Species

We’re continually growing the number of wood species we carry in stock in our Boise showroom. Some of the species we carry include Ash, Silver Maple, Russian Olive, Black Walnut, Elm, and Oak. Don’t hesitate to contact our showroom to see what we have in stock as it can change daily.

Is there a certain species of wood you want kiln-dried, but don’t see it listed on our website? Let us know what you’re looking for and we’ll do our best to source it. We just ask for you to be patient during the kiln-drying process.
